Thanks, anon... Denver's urban parks (with lakes) have provided wonderful sightings, not only of the scenery, but Herons, Pelicans, the rare Hybrid Duck, Coots, Cormorants, Night Herons and on and on. It's really quite incredible that these wonderful birds make their home (for part or all of the year) right smack dab in the middle of the city. The dog parks are also a great experience.
